GG's Goats - Azalea Classic

Entries received by October 28, 2011 will be $15/head per show. If the same animal is entered in all three shows and the entries are received by October 28, then the total entry for that animal is $40. Entries received after October 28 will be $20/hd/show or $50 for all three shows.

Entries will be accepted until 8am November 5 for Show 1, 12 noon November 5 for show 2, and 8am November 6 for Show 3. Check-in for each show must be completed at these times as well.

Shows will be held at the Muskogee Fairgrounds, Hog Barn. Address for the fairgrounds is 1444 S. Cherokee St. Muskogee, OK 74403. Directions to the fairgrounds. From the intersection of Main Street (Hiway 64) and Okmulgee, go three blocks east to C Street. Turn south on C Street and drive approximately 1 mile. You will see the fair grounds. The hog barn is located on the south side of the round barn.

The shows will be ABGA Sanctioned and will follow their show rules and bylaws. Show results and show points generated at each show will be posted following the conclusion of each show for those interested in how many points were earned. Please check the results of each show for corrections. Results will be faxed into the ABGA by November 10, 2011.

Concessions will be available by the Muskogee 4-H and FFA Livestock Booster Club for Breakfast and Lunch.

Bring extension cords and lights for clipping. The barn can get dim after dark. If you have generators, they might be useful. Enclosed wash facilities will be available. Pens are 3.5 feet tall and composed of hog panels. The pens are on concrete. Pen space is first come first serve. Pens can easily hold 2-3 adult goats. No limit or restriction on pen space. Barns open at noon on Friday.

And of course, don't forget about the BBQ dinner and Bingo on Saturday night. Will be barrels of fun!
